Project sponsor or sponsor description This project is sponsored by Old Dominion University and the Commonwealth of Virginia Abstract: This project seeks to develop a more detailed understanding of the relative density of at-sea habitat use and, this year, diving behavior and oceanographic preferences for the olive ridley (Lepidochelys olivacea) turtle to allow for more effective marine spatial planning efforts in support of marine protected area design, fisheries management and petrochemical exploration activities. The project is funded by Old Dominion University and the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Supplemental information: Visit STAT's project page for additional information. This dataset is a summarized representation of the telemetry locations aggregated per species per 1-degree cell.
