document best practices in describing and publishing species level information and

to start working on transforming Plinian Core files to Darwin Core standard files.
The mentoring project on Plinian Core, led by the Biodiversity Information System of Mexico, is one of five projects to receive GBIF capacity enhancement support for 2014.
