University of Balochistan

Description

University of Balochistan is the oldest higher education institute of the largest province Balochistan, Pakistan. The Botanical Garden and Herbarium UoB was established and managed by Meritorious Prof. Dr. Mudassir Asrar in 2008. This has large collection of living angiosperms, gymnosperms including medicinal plants, local and rare species. The herbarium also has large collection of Algae, fungi, bryophytes, pteridophytes, ferns, angiosperms and gymnosperms.
