Description

The Biodiversity and Resources Management Program of the Cordillera Studies C enter (BRMP-CSC) serves to fulfil and fortify the niche of University of the Philippines Baguio (UPB) in terms of the key components that deal with biodiversity and resource management issues in the Northern Philippines, namely, research, resource databank, and information and education. These three components are heavily intertwined as the entire process of generation, storage and dissemination of knowledge dynamic are perpetually ongoing. By aligning its objectives and research thrusts along these components, the BRMP-CSC champions the cause of biodiversity conservation in the region and further strengthens UPB’s role as the lead academic, research, and public service university in Northern Luzon.
