The University of Vermont Pringle Herbarium

Description

The Pringle Herbarium (VT) contains 350,000 specimens, including vascular plants, bryophytes, lichens, algae and fungi. Of these, this portal will contain about 260,000 vascular plant specimens, including all vascular plant specimens except for those from New England. Other digitization projects cover type specimens, vascular plant specimens from New England, North American bryophytes and lichens, macroalgae, macrofungi, and Pteridophytes. These images and data are available through various other portals. The herbarium does not maintain its own online database.
