description
Cells are Gram-staining-positive, non-flagellated and rodshaped. Colonies are circular, convex, glistening and orange / yellow-colored after 3 days on MA at 25 ℃. Positive reactions are obtained for esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase and β-galactosidase in API 20 NE, and negative reactions are obtained for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase and urease. Dglucose, Dmannose, Dmannitol, Dmaltose and potassium gluconate are utilized. Does not utilize Larabinose, N acetylglucosamine, capric acid, adipic acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid. Strain WRM 1 Y (= NIBRBA 0000113997) was isolated from a soil sample in field of reeds, Wando, Korea.
description
Strain M 3 R 204 (= NIBRBAC 000499672) was isolated from the feces of a Siberian musk deer (Moschus moschiferus), Hwacheon, Gangwon Province, Korea. The DNA G + C content of the type strain is 72.9 mol %.
