description
Description. Shell height to 4.7 mm; fusiform, moderately solid. Protoconch large, smooth, of 2.25 markedly convex whorls, apex exposed. Teleoconch of up to 4 whorls, slightly convex in outline; last whorl comprising about 50 % of total shell height. Suture deep, impressed. Surface white; sculptured with 14 to 17 strong axial ribs and 2 or 3 low, narrow spiral cords per whorl, which produce small beads at their intersections. Axial sculpture vanishing at base, which is sculptured with a delimiting, strong cord, that is visible at sutures, and 6 to 9 additional cords. Aperture ovate, interior white; columellar callus moderately thick; siphonal canal short, slightly oblique, wide.
