description
(Fig. 12 F) Material examined. Russia: PK, Gornotaezhnoe, MTS, 43.69 N, 132.15 E, 152 m alt., Quercus dentata, 22. VII. 2016, 1 male (reared from leaf mine), NK 528, MK 403687, deposited in INRA. Leaf mine. The mine is whitish blotch between secondary veins on the lower side of the leaf (Fig. 12 F). No preceding epidermal tunnel. In the later stage, the mine is significantly contracted (Fig. 12 F). Pupation in the mine. Trophic specialization. Monophagous on Quercus: Q. dentate, Q. mongolica, Q. serrata (Fagaceae) (De Prins & De Prins 2018). Distribution. Russia: RFE — KK, PK (Ermolaev 1981 b; Baryshnikova 2008, 2016); Japan (Kumata 1957).
