discussion
Remarks. The shell plate details of this large species show similarities to those of T. darwinii and T. ovale (Hoek, 1883), but some differences were described by Young (1998 b).

Distribution. Pacific, Northwest and Southwest; Indian Ocean. Known depth range 3310 to 4820 m.
