Spotted Snake Eel or Tiger Snake Eel. To 74 cm (29.1 in) TL (Robertson and Allen 2015). Bahía Magdalena, southern Baja California (Charter in Moser 1996) to Callao, Peru (Chirichigno and Vélez 1998), including Gulf of California (McCosker and Rosenblatt in Fischer et al. 1995), Islas Galápagos (Grove and Lavenberg 1997), and Isla del Cocos (Robertson and Allen 2002).
