description
Cells are aerobic, Gram-staining-positive, non-flagellated and filamentous. Colonies are circular, spore-forming and yellow colored after incubation for 3 days on R 2 A agar at 20 - 40 ℃. In the API 20 NE system, positive reaction for urease activity, hydrolysis of esculin and gelatin and β-galactosidase activity. In the API 20 NE system, negative reaction for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, oxidase activity and utilization of D-glucose, L-arabinose, D-mannose, Dmannitol, N acetylglucosamine, Dmaltose, potassium gluconate, capric acid, adipic acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid. Strain 9 C 1 (= NIBRBAC 000503221) was isolated from soil in Yeongwol, Gangwon Province, Korea (37 ° 13 ′ 52.7 ″ N 128 ° 28 ′ 59.0 ″ E).
