A list of the tracheophyte names accepted in "Flora Severo-Vostoka Evropeyskoy Chasti SSSR" [= Flora Regionis Boreali-Orientalis Territoriae Europaeae URSS] (Tolmatchev, 1974-1977) and indicated on maps for the Komi Republic. Novaya Zemlya and Franz Josef Land are not covered by this source. Only maps are used as a data source for this dataset. Additional regional records from the text will be incorporated later. The dataset was compiled as a first step towards further processing of the modern checklist for the Komi Republic, Russia.

Stable archival version (not edited, not curated).

The dataset includes 1,143 accepted species, subspecies and variety names. Cultivated plants are discarded. Taxonomic names were taken from the maps and not cross-checked with text and index of the original source (four volumes published in 1974-1977).

Several minor orthographic errors in either scientific names or their authors were corrected manually. Some names were not automatically cross-linked with the GBIF backbone.
