This 5-day workshop aimed to share the experiences of JBIF: Japan and provided an orientation to the possible organistion and role of the Vietnam node, data mobilisation and the data digitization. The workshop also included a visit to the National Institute of Genetics. The outcome of the workshop provide trainers to the Training workshop for the trainers which supports the Development of the biodiversity database system in Vietnam project funded by the Biodiversity Information Fund for Asia (BIFA).
