description
# 1242, juvenile, 23 mm long, 10 mm wide measured across siphons in tunic. Dorsal ganglion protuberant between siphons. Has numerous small white patches on surface of body as in # 1208. Single row of elongate sausage shaped gonads, 10 on left side, 14 on right side. Two tiny reddish stolidobranchs attached to tunic, Polycarpa sp. and a Microcosmus sp. # 4642, red juvenile on edge of rock, attached by entire left or ventral side; 18 mm long x 9 mm wide in tunic. Tunic thin, fragile, especially on attached left side. Atrial siphon in posterior third of body. Stomach long, furrowed, running anteroposteriorly. Series of small globular gonads developing in body wall.
