The Musee de la Vallee of Barcelonnette (Alpes de Haute Provence, France) holds a collection of mounted specimens of bird started by Pierre Berlie (1832-1914) and completed by his son Antoine Berlie (1864-1934), two naturalists from Tournoux in the French Alps (Alpes de Haute Provence, France). This collection houses 543 specimens representing at least 396 species of birds, collected mainly in Europe (some exotic birds were collected in the Americas, Africa and Asia tough). The collection houses one specimen from Theobald Johannes Krüper (1829-1921) and four specimens from Albert Maës (1846-1914). https://www.museedelavallee.fr/Taxonomic Coverages
