Description

The Barakaldo Mycological Society is one of the first mycological groups of the Basque Country. Since it foundation in 1975, the society gathers various people interested in fungi, and promotes environmental education and nature conservation. Our group harbours one of the most important fungaria in the Basque country, with nearly 5000 specimens preserved and collected in the Basque area, Burgos, Cantabria and other areas of Spain.
