Comments. Arctopiophila arctica has been recorded from the high arctic and subarctic in both the Nearctic (Steyskal 1965; McAlpine 1977) and Palaearctic regions (Ozerov 2004 b). We recorded it at all four high arctic sites, and two subarctic sites: North Fork Pass and Kugluktuk.
