discussion
Comments. Parapiophila fulviceps was previously recorded in Alaska and Manitoba in the Nearctic (Sabrosky 1958; Steyskal 1965) and in northwest Russia in the Palaearctic (Ozerov 2004 b). The species is now known to be more widespread in northern Canada based on NIS and NBP specimens.
