diagnosis
Diagnosis Dilyta subclavata is mainly characterized by a punctate area on the posterior part of the metasoma; female antenna slightly clavate from F 6 with F 1 slightly shorter than or subequal to pedicel, F 2 subequal to F 3, F 4 slightly shorter than F 1 but longer than F 2 and F 3, and sensilla beginning on F 6 – F 7 (Fig. 6.6); male antenna slightly clavate from F 4 with F 1 slightly longer than pedicel and sometimes slightly arched, F 2 shorter than F 1 and F 3, F 3 shorter than F 1, F 1 subequal to F 4, F 4 – F 12 wider than previous segments, and sensilla beginning on F 4. It is similar to D. longinqua, but can be differentiated by the proportions of the flagellomere (F 1 is subequal to pedicel or slightly longer, F 2 is shorter than F 3, F 3 is shorter than F 4, antenna are slightly clavate from F 6, and sensilla begin on F 6 in D. longinqua females (Fig. 6.3), while F 1 is subequal to pedicel, F 2 is shorter than F 1 or F 3, F 3 is subequal to F 1, F 3 – F 12 are wider than the previous flagellomeres, antenna are slightly clavate from F 3, and sensilla begin on F 3 in males of D. longinqua).
