distribution
Distribution. India, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, China, Russia, Korea. Discussion. This is a high altitude species, found between 200 m and 2,000 m (Archer 1999). Zhang (1989) reported the presence of Vespa binghami in Miocene deposits in Shandong, China, but this identification needs to be verified.
