Physiologicalcharacteristics and originare similar to L. kisonensis [333]. The genome size of the type strain is 2.35 Mbp. The mol % G + C content of DNA is 42.4. Isolated from sunki, a fermented turnip product and from kefir. The type strain is YIT 11163 T = DSM 19908 T = JCM 15040 T = NRIC 0742 T.
