Stripesnout False Moray. To 25 cm (9.8 in) TL (Robertson and Allen 2002). Near Todos Santos (23 ° 24.6 ’ N, 110 ° 13.8 ’ W), southern Baja California (John Snow, pers. comm. to M. L.); tip of Baja California (23 ° 03 ’ N, 109 ° 28 ’ W) (Lavenberg 1988) and mouth of Gulf of California to Colombia (Robertson and Allen 2002).
