discussion
Comments. This northern species is found only at high elevations in NH, and probably represents a relict population from the period of glaciation. It is transcontinental in northern Canada and occurs also in Alaska (Klimaszewski et al. 2018, 2021).
distribution
Distribution. Holarctic, recorded from A / S (Klimaszewski et al. 2021). Canada: LB, NT, NU, YT. USA: AK, NH. Collection and Habitat data. In NH two females were found in birch and fir litter at an elevation of 1170 – 1828 m. In Canada and Alaska found in moss and litter on tundra and under rocks at the margin of a snowfield; in Ptasites, Salix litter; moss, Saxifraga by stream; in rich Alnus, Ribes, Salix litter on bluffs above river; in Geum glaciale J. E. Adams ex Fisch, Primula tschuktschorum Kjellm. by stream formed from snow melt (Klimaszewski et al. 2021).
