Description

Records of first observations of selected species of flowering plants, insects and migratory birds collected throughout the Outer Hebrides. Survey began in 2020, and includes a small number of records from 2001 OHBR maintains a regional database of records of the flora, fungi and fauna of the Outer Hebrides and the surrounding marine areas. Purpose

To monitor the first flowering, emergence of arrival of selected species throughout the Outer Hebrides to document temporal differences throughout the islands and between years.

Quality Control

Data do not have comprehensive geographic or taxonomic coverage. OHBR aims to maintain a high standard of data quality and all records are validated and verified in accordance with OHBR policy.
