diagnosis
Diagnosis. M. himalaya is distinguished from the species in the species group niponensis by the low number of teeth and largest tooth density (Figs 5 d; Table 5) and continuous song, which consists of repeated unchanged simple syllables (Fig. 1 p – r). The species is only distributed in low altitudes of Yunnan Province in China.

Etymology. The species name indicates its locality and distribution area.
