Generic character. Body small. Face vertical. Fastigium verticis conical, apex obtuse, dorsal surface with a fine longitudinal furrow. Apical segments of maxillary palpi slightly longer than subapical ones, apices slightly inflated. Posterior margin of lateral lobes of pronotum narrowing to backwards, humeral sinus indistinct. Tegmina short, reaching the middle area of abdomen; hind wings slightly shorter than tegmina. Fore coxa with 1 small spine. All femora unarmed on ventral surfaces, apices of genicular lobes of hind femora obtusely rounded. Tibial tympana of fore tibiae open on both sides; apices of hind tibiae with 1 pair of dorsal spurs and 2 pairs of ventral spurs on ventral surfaces. Posterior margin of male tenth abdominal tergite with 1 pair of long processes. Cerci complex and bilateral symmetry; genitalia membranous; subgenital plate with styli. Ovipositor with dorsal and ventral margins smooth, dorsal valvulae acute at apices, ventral valvulae with a small hook at end. Body black brown. discussion
Discussion. The main differences between this genus and Phlugiolopsis Zeuner, 1940 (Chinese name: 吟 ẽ ạ), Aphlugiolopsis Wang, Liu & Li, 2015 (Chinese name: 亚吟 ẽ), Paraphlugiolopsis Bian & Shi, 2014 (Chinese name: 副吟 ẽạ), Pseudophlugiolopsis Wang, Zhou & Chang, 2020 (Chinese name: IJ 吟 ẽạ) and Guangxia An, Chen & Shi, 2023 (Chinese name: ṳẽạ) are: body slightly large, tegmina beyond the posterior margin of pronotum, reaching the middle area of abdomen, posterior margin of male tenth abdominal tergite obviously concave with 1 pair of long depressed processes. Phlugiolopsis has shorted tegmina which is slightly beyond the posterior margin of pronotum and male tenth abdominal tergite posteriorly without process. In Aphlugiolopsis, the tegmina slightly surpasses the apex of abdomen and male genitalia is sclerotized. Hind tibiae of Paraphlugiolopsis have two pairs of apical spurs. Male tenth abdominal tergite of Pseudophlugiolopsis has 1 pair of long processes on posterior margin. Guangxia has the following characteristics: a) body brownish or greenish, b) posterior margin of male tenth abdominal concave with 1 pair of processes that widely separated from each other, c) styli inserted at apex of male subgenital plate.
etymology
