Paremcibacter congregatus comb. nov. (con. gre. ga′ tus. L. part. adj. congregatus clustered, always clustered when cultured in lipid medium).

The type strain, ZYLT (= KCTC 62328 T = JCM 32378 T = MCCC 1 K 03526 T), was isolated from a cultured in situ sediment sample collected on the coast of the East China Sea. The GenBank / EMBL / MMBJ accession number for the 16 S rRNA gene sequence is MG 051279 and the genome sequence is CP 041025.
