description
Cells are aerobic, Gram-staining-positive, non-flagellated and rod shaped. Colonies are circular, convex, glistening and yellow colored after incubation for 3 days on R 2 A agar at 25 ℃. In the API 20 NE system, positive reaction for hydrolysis of esculin, oxidase activity and utilization of Dmannitol. In the API 20 NE system, negative reaction for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease activity, hydrolysis of gelatin, β-galactosidase activity and utilization of D-glucose, Larabinose, Dmannose, N acetylglucosamine, Dmaltose, potassium gluconate, capric acid, adipic acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid. Strain N 14 (= NIBRBAC 000503414) was isolated from ginsengcultivated soil in Yeongju, Gyeongsangbuk Province, Korea (36 ° 53 ′ 51.5 ″ N 128 ° 28 ′ 02.3 ″ E).
