Description

This occurrence data set includes selected records of predatory arachnids based on preserved specimens from the University of the Philippines Los Baños Museum of Natural History's arachnology and acarology collections. The dataset primarily includes record from Luzon Island. Other records from few other Islands in the Philippines have also been included.

Purpose

This dataset is our institution's first attempt in publishing data to GBIF.

Taxonomic Coverages

This data set covers the class Arachnida or the arachnids, most of the records included are of spiders and predatory mites.

Geographic Coverages
