A list of the tracheophyte names accepted in "Flora of Amur Region..." (Starchenko, 2008). The dataset was compiled as a first step towards further processing of the modern checklist for Amur Oblast, Russia.
Stable archival version (not edited, not curated).
The dataset includes 2,016 accepted species, subspecies and variety names. The original source listed 2,054 accepted taxa. We excluded 38 species marked "К" (cultivated): Allium cepa L., Allium fistulosum L., Allium sativum L., Aronia mitschurinii A.Skvorts. et Maitulina, Brassica oleracea L., Brassica rapa L., Campanula persicifolia L., Capsicum annuum L., Citrullus lanatus (Thunb.) Matsum. et Nakai, Cucumis sativus L., Cucurbita pepo L., Daucus carota L., Euryale ferox Salisb., Fragaria magna Thuill., Fragaria virginiana (Duch.) Mill., Grossularia reclinata (L.) Mill., Helianthus annuus L., Impatiens balsamina L., Lathyrus odoratus L., Lycopersicon esculentum Mill., Melo sativus Sager. ex M. Roem., Papaver somniferum L., Perilla frutensis (L.) Britt., Phaseolus coccineus L., Phaseolus vulgaris L., Phlox drummondii Hook, Phlox paniculata L., Prunus domestica L., Raphanus sativus L., Ribes aureum Pursh, Rudbeckia hirta L., Solanum melongena L., Solanum tuberosum L., Solidago gigantea Ait., Tagetes erecta L., Tagetes patula L., Zea mays L., Zinnia elegans Jacq. However, 45 species marked as either "К, АД" (cultivated and alien) or "К, РУ" (cultivated and ruderal) are included here.
Several minor orthographic errors in either scientific names or their authors were corrected manually. Some names were not automatically cross-linked with the GBIF backbone.
