The dataset was created as a contribution towards amphibian and reptile species occurrences records for the Tana River Basin Biodiversity Information System portal.

Sampling Description

Study Extent

Lower Tana River North from Bangali, Garissa, Bura, Hola to Wenje in the south,

Sampling

Used standard Herpetological methods of Visual Encounter Survey (VES)

Method steps

The following sites were sampled: Tana River County: Galole-Bura areas covering Hola, Wayu, Galole, Wenje, Bangali, Madogo, Daba. Garissa County: Areas near Garissa Town; Kora-Kora.
