Description

Monitoring of Oak processionary larvae (Thaumetopoea processionea) in the province of East Flanders, Belgium is a historical occurrence dataset published by the Province East Flanders (Belgium). The dataset is published as a standardized Darwin Core Archive and includes for each occurrence record an occurrenceID, date, location, quantification where available and scientific name. The source data for this standardized occurrence dataset is retrieved from Province East Flanders
Mapping of data was done with R markdown script: https://github.com/inbo/data-publication/tree/master/datasets/eikenprocessierups-occurrences/scr
The resulting Darwin Core data files are uploaded to the INBO IPT (https://ipt.inbo.be) and documented with metadata.
The dataset is published and registered with GBIF.
