This meeting is one of four planned regional training courses, in which expert trainers and trainers-in-training lead 16 to 20 higher-education students from Belarus through a five-day data-skills program that includes an excursion and bioblitz.
The BioDATA is a training programme for higher-education students from Tajikistan, Belarus, Ukraine, and Armenia offering an intensive course of study that leads to their certification in biodiversity data management.
Coordinated by the University of Oslo with support from GBIF, BioDATA is funded by DIKU: the Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education.
