Organized as part of the BIFA project “Bats and associated ectoparasites and pathogens from the UPLB Museum of Natural History“, (BIFA6_026) this online workshop invited participants from various higher learning institutions, museums, government-funded projects, and NGOs to learn about planning, data cleaning, data management and publishing through the GBIF platform.
The BIFA project showcased their published datasets and encouraged participants to publish their data through GBIF. The workshop was conducted in four modules:

- Data Capture
- Data Management
- Publishing
