Description
The Center for Biodiversity conservation and Endangered Species (CBES) is a not-for-profit research organization that established under decision No 965-LHHVN of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA). CBES team envision themselves as the bonding factor that connect scientists, innovative technologies, conservation practitioners and policies makers in pursuit of harmony between human’s needs and nature conservancy. Our main mission is to facilitate sciences-based actions and evidence-driven decisions in conservation and management of fauna and flora in Vietnam. Specifically, we conduct baseline scientific researches, with strong emphasis on ecology of endangered species, conservation paradigms and practical approaches. We also help enhance capacities of conservation practitioners and policy-makers on modern conservation, especially on applying advance technologies on solving real-world issues. Finally, we aim establish, enhance and expand our network of collaborators to ensure the application of scientific findings in conservation.Contacts
