Tigirek State Nature Reserve

Description

Tigirek State Nature Reserve is an environmental and scientific organization. The Reserve has 15 years of experience in studying the natural ecosystems of the Western Altai. Our organization keeps and constantly replenishes collections of insects (about 3000 specimens), freshwater invertebrates (about 1000 specimens), herbarium (about 1000 specimens), data from camera traps, data on human observations of various species of animals. Main goal of the Tigirek State Nature Reserve Biological Collection is to accumulate biological collections and manage associated biodiversity information on Tigirek Reserve area and Western Altai region.
