Nauticaris magellanica (A. Milne-Edwards, 1891)
Occurs in the East Pacific, as well as the southwestern Atlantic, within the sub-Antarctic AOI recorded from Patagonia and the Falkland Islands; benthic, 2–65 m, and often on holdfasts of Macrocystis (Holthuis 1952; Thatje & Bacardit 2000b). Synonyms: Hippolyte consobrinus A. Milne-Edwards, 1891; Nauticaris marionis var. chilensis Doflein & Balss, 1912.
