discussion
Liquorilactobacillus oeni (oe ′ ni. Gr. masc. n. oinos, wine; N. L. gen. n. oeni, of wine). Basonym: Lactobacillusoeni Mañes-Laetal. 2009, 2013 VP L. oeni cells are mostly motile and they grow at pH 4.5 – 8.0 butnot atpH 3.3 and with 10 % ethanol. L-Malicacid istransformed into L (+) - lactic acid. They produce exopolysaccharide from sucrose [203]. The genome size of the type strain is 2.12 Mbp. The mol % G + C content of DNA is 37.3.
