A database of casual sightings of cetaceans submitted to the IWDG by members, general public or researchers.

Purpose

To obtain information on the distribution and occurrence of cetacean in Irish coastal waters.

Sampling Description

Quality Control

All sighting have been validated by the IWDG.

Method steps

Sightings are received either through the IWDG's online record submission form, or directly be email.
