Organized as part of the Capacity Enhancement Support Programme project "Enhancing capacity to mobilize and use biodiversity data to support sustainable development in West Africa" (CESP2020-005), this workshop was held at the University of Ghana and aimed to enhance participants' knowledge and skills in utilizing biodiversity for sustainable development.
The workshop included training in biodiversity data analysis, development of biodiversity information products (BIPs) and mainstreaming of biodiversity information in decision-making, and consisted of presentations, practical sessions, and exercises.
The workshop drew 18 participants from diverse backgrounds, including academia, forestry, and environmental sectors.
