description
New record: Nakhon Sri Thammarat, Khao Luang NP, headquarters, 08 ° 22 ' 21.6 '' N, 99 ° 44 ' 14.7 '' E, 196 m, EtOH trap, 1. iii. 2010 (W. Sittichaya) (1). This confirms the presence of the species in Thailand. Other distribution: Indonesia (Java, Sumatera), Malaysia (E. & W.), New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Is. Intercepted in Japan in timber imported from the region. (3) Biology: Polyphagous. The gallery system (Browne 1961 a) appears to resemble that of M. corporaali (see above).
