description
Two females. Dimensions: L = 0.37 - 0.42 mm; a = 2 9 - 31; b = 3.6; c = 10.2 - 11. 1; V = 1 0 - 1 353 - 5410 - 1 2. This species generally resembles P. parvus, withwhichit sharesthepostequatorial vulva position. It is, however, easilydistinguishedbythemuch slenderer body and the curved posturein death. Lipsround, appearingslightly inflated. Amphids measuring 1.5 \ x or 17 % ofcorrespondingbodydiameter, located 10 \ J. behind head end. Cephalic setae 2 \ x. long, directed laterad. Tail length 4.8 - 5.0 anal body widths. Samples 19 and 62.
