description
Cells are facultatively aerobic, Gramstainingpositive, nonflagellated and filamentous. Colonies are circular, raised and yellow colored after incubation for 4 days on MH agar at 30 ℃. In the API 20 NE system, positive reaction for nitrate reduction, urease activity, hydrolysis of esculin and gelatin, β-galactosidase activity and utilization of Dglucose, Larabinose (weak), Dmannose, Dmannitol, N acetylglucosamine, Dmaltose (weak), potassium gluconate, adipic acid (weak), malic acid and trisodium citrate (weak). In the API 20 NE system, negative reaction for indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, oxidase activity and utilization of capric acid and phenylacetic acid. Strain 19 D 2 F 17 (= NIBRBAC 000503277) was isolated from soil around the Dong River, Gangwon Province, Korea (37 ° 18 ′ 48.5 ″ N 128 ° 37 ′ 37.6 ″ E).
