Stereo-BRUVs were deployed in Tsitsikamma National Park to monitor reef fish abundance and measure fish lengths. The resultant records of sampling events, underwater videos, fish occurrences and fish lengths constitute this dataset. Videos were analysed using EventMeasure (SeaGIS) to record MaxN and length values. See Bernard et al. (2014). DwC Event Core: A parent sampling event represents an event that took place at a named location, where a number of child sampling events (videos) were undertaken. DwC Occurrence Extension: An occurrence record represents a species observed in a particular 60-minute video, specifically the MaxN, or largest number of individuals of this species observed in a single frame.DwC Extended Measurement or Fact Extension: Each record represents an individual fish, specifically the individual's length as measured using EventMeasure. DwC Audubon Media Description: Each record represents a child sampling event's video file (video files are not available online but can be requested).
