Species occurrence dataset supplied in the framework of the Biogeographic Atlas of the Southern Ocean (BASO) (De Broyer et al. 2019). Occurrence records in various regions of the Southern Ocean (below 55°S) were collated from the literature (1902-2000) into a dataset including over 1500 records; a further 150 records, mainly from the Ross Sea, represent previously unpublished data.Sampling Description
