The Biodiversity Data Portal of Portugal is the site for access to national information published through the GBIF. Here it is possible to access the biodiversity occurrence data published by Portuguese institutions through the GBIF, and to the data published by foreign institutions for the national territory. This site corresponds to the national implementation of the Atlas of Living Australia platform, developed by the research infrastructure of the same name, which is also the Australian Node of the GBIF. The adaptation to be used in the national context resulted from the work of a community of programmers, mainly associated with the GBIF Nodes, under the guidance of the Atlas of Living Australia, and supported by the GBIF Secretariat.
