Description

Voronezh State University is one of Russia’s leading public research universities build in 1918. Voronezh State University is currently one of the country’s most renowned universities and it prides itself on being the largest research university in the Central Black Earth Region of the Russian Federation. The university comprises 18 faculties, 16 research laboratories, 10 research and development centres and a university library. The Department of Botany and Mycology of the Biomedical Faculty has a valuable botanical collection - Herbarium of them prof. B.M. Kozo-Polyansky Voronezh state university (VOR). Containing botanical collections of the region since 1915 and possessing the Historical Herbarium of the 19th century. At the Department of Botany and Mycology, environmental activities and the study of the flora of the region are carried out.
