Description

State Pedagogical University of Ulyanovsk is a major higher education and research institution in Ulyanovsk. It was established in 1932. Nowadays taxonomic and biogeographic investigations take place on the Department of Biology and Chemistry. They focus mainly on researches on different groups of insects, birds, fishes and mammals as well as geobotanic investigations and based on historic herbarium and zoological museums on vertebrate and invertebrate animals.
