Description

Mission of NIBR is that securing the sovereign rights over biological resources through conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity. The major functions of NIBR are like below : 1. To collect, preserve, and manage biological resource collections 2. To conduct surveys and research on biological resources, 3. To provide support to the bio-industry, including source materials and/or information of wild species for basic and applied research, 4. To develop a national biological resources database network and support policy development on biodiversity issues, 5. To present exhibitions and provide educational programs on biological resources.
