HABITAT IN MITARAKA. — This centrolenid was conspicuously calling from the canopy above the creeks but was not collected.

TAXONOMIC REMARKS. — Specimens identified as Cochranella geijskesi were collected and recorded in French Guiana. This call was encountered in Sipaliwini, Suriname (Fouquet et al. 2015 b) and in many areas of French Guiana.

TYPE LOCALITY. — Suriname, Wilhelmina Mountains. DISTRIBUTION. — This species is known only from its type locality but we assume that it occurs at least throughout the eastern Guiana Shield based on call identification.
